Congratulations to Corinn Lindsey on the purchase of Reminchic (AKA Boom).
This week has been a busy one at Bales performance Horses and for Corinn. Bales Performance Horses assisted Corinn in selling her first horse and purchasing her second horse Boom. Corinn's first horse was not a show horse and she is very excited to join the Bales performance Horse team and start her journey to the show pen! We are happy to have helped and excited to be a part of the journey.
Good Luck to Rangers new owner and a big thanks to Lisa Tanzer on allowing us to purchase such a great horse!

starting young part II
Here at Bales Performance Horses we love to see the enthusiasm of young children and horses. Here Elizabeth ( age 9) is taking her saturday lesson on Urkel. She has done a wonderful job mastering the basic riding skills in the round pen now she is trying her skills in a bigger space in the arena and seems to be doing a great job handling the responsibility. Much like her sister Josephine, Elizabeth has put in time, hard work and dedication into learning this sport and strives to become a showman like their mother Marlena. We have enjoyed watching her grow as a young person and as a rider and as we can't wait to see her take her developed skill to the show pen we are enjoying watching her grow every week.

Starting young!
Much like Marty Bales did this little sweet heart Josephine developing a strong love for riding at a young age. She is growing as a rider, horseman, and responsible young lady. She enjoys learning the sport reining and is hoping to be ready to show within the next few show seasons. Her hard work, dedication and weekly lessons have developed her into a strong rider.
Keep it up Josephine!

Work in progress!

This extremely talented two year old filly is Bales Performance Horses futurity prospect. She is an own daughter of the late and great Commanders Nic. She has everything her daddy has. Not just the look, with the long gorgeous mane and tail, but his even temper and willingness to please. She also has his agility and all of his talent! We were luck enough to get her early in her two year old year and have had the pleasure of starting and working with her from the beginning. We are extremely excited to get the 2013 show season underway with this one. But for now we will settle for the day to day improvement she shows us.
